About

After receiving his MD (1979) from the University of Milan (Italy), Mauro completed two medical specialities: Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy (1984) and Nutritional Science (diet specialist course) (1987).

He worked in collaboration with IRCCS Policlinico (University of Milan) mainly focusing on practical and theoretical educational activities and with supportive medical tasks at Unità Operativa of Gastroenterology 3 until 2010.

He is a member of two national scientific societies:

  1. SIED (Italian Society of Digestive Endoscopy) from 1988
  2. ANSISA (Italian Society of Nutritional Science) from 1991

He is currently working as a nutritionist and gastroenterologist in his private office in Milan, and also at Casa di Cura Private Columbus, La Madonnina and at the clinic diagnostic specialist Somed.

He is an expert on all nutritional problems mainly focusing on gastroenterology disorders.
Through the impedentiometry evaluation and the metabolic holter is able to estimate the body composition and the daily metabolic consumption rate (Dietitian Nutritionist).

Furthermore, he provides specialized gastroenterologist medical tests and endoscopy of the upper and lower part of the grastointestinal track (Gastroenterologist Endoscopist).
